Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation of verse 3.14.437:
ये चाव्ययकृतः केचित् क्रियाधर्मसमर्न्विताः ।
तेषामसत्त्वाचित्वं तिङ्न्तैर्न विशिष्यते ॥ ४३७ ॥ye cāvyayakṛtaḥ kecit kriyādharmasamarnvitāḥ |
teṣāmasattvācitvaṃ tiṅntairna viśiṣyate || 437 ||437. As For the indeclinable words ending in kṛt suffixes and expressive of a meaning having the attributes of an action, they denote non-substance and so do not differ from verbs.
Commentary
[As for the kṛt suffixes which are used to form indeclinables (like tumun, ktvā etc.) words ending in such suffixes arc like verbs because they denote a process and not a thing. Like verbs they cannot take case endings.]
