The Sanskrit text of the Panchasayaka, a Sanskrit text in five parts dealing the ancient Indian science of erotics (i.e., Kamashastra) from the 13th century. It was written by Jyotirishwar Thakur (also: Kavisekharacarya Jyotirisvara Thakura). Alternative titles: Pañcasāyaka (पञ्चसायक, Pancasayaka) Pañca-sāyaka (पञ्च-सायक, Pancha-sayaka).

स्नानीयसुगन्धिनिरूपणम् ।
स्वर्णाम्बुदोशीरमिशीयुतानां पथ्यान्वितानां च विलेपनेन ।
स्नात्वा नरः सौरभमेव मासाच्चैकण्यमाप्नोति शिरोरुहाणाम् ॥ ८ ॥

snānīyasugandhinirūpaṇam |
svarṇāmbudośīramiśīyutānāṃ pathyānvitānāṃ ca vilepanena |
snātvā naraḥ saurabhameva māsāccaikaṇyamāpnoti śiroruhāṇām || 8 ||

Description of bath fragrances. They were mixed with golden clouds, ushi and mishi and were smeared with pathetic ointments. After bathing in the river a man attains the fragrance of the hair on his head for a month.
