Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation of verse 3.14.469:

यैरप्रयुक्तैः संस्कारः प्रधानेषु प्रतीयते ।
ते भेदेऽपि विभक्तीनां निर्दिश्यन्त उपाधयः ॥ ४६९ ॥

yairaprayuktaiḥ saṃskāraḥ pradhāneṣu pratīyate |
te bhede'pi vibhaktīnāṃ nirdiśyanta upādhayaḥ || 469 ||

469. If the words expressive of the condition, even without being mentioned in usage, can qualify the main meanings, they are used even with different case-endings.

Commentary

[One cannot argue that the qualifier should follow the qualified and so the word kriyā in P. 5. 1. 115 should be changed to kriyayā to agree with tena which stands for the qualified. 11, even without any such change, the qualifier can perform its function of rendering service to the qualified, there is no need to make any change. The only purpose of the qualifier is to exclude other things (vyavaccheda) and that can happen even il the case-ending is not changed. Secondly, even if the case-ending is changed, difference of gender would remain. The conclusion is that no matter how the condition is mentioned, it could perforin its function.]
