Pasuram 5.2.10
Tamil text and transliteration:
மிக்க உலகுகள் தோறும் மேவி கண்ணன் திருமூர்த்தி
நக்க பிரானோடு அயனும் இந்திரனும் முதலாகத்
தொக்க அமரர் குழாங்கள் எங்கும் பரந்தன தொண்டீர்!
ஒக்கத் தொழ கிற்றிராகில் கலியுகம் ஒன்றும் இல்லையே.
mikka ulakukaḷ tōṟum mēvi kaṇṇaṉ tirumūrtti
nakka pirāṉōṭu ayaṉum intiraṉum mutalākat
tokka amarar kuḻāṅkaḷ eṅkum parantaṉa toṇṭīr!
okkat toḻa kiṟṟirākil kaliyukam oṉṟum illaiyē.
English translation of verse 5.2.10:
Ye, worldlings, the deities whom you do adore,
Nakkapirāṉ (Śiva) Ayaṉ (Brahmā), Intiraṉ and all others
Worship, in strength, the Lord Supreme of form exquisite and thrive well,
In their sprawling worlds; like these celestials you will also do well
To worship Him and thus Kali’s mischief quell.
