Sanskrit text and transliteration:
अगृहीत्वैव सम्बन्धमभिधानाभिधेययोः ।
हित्वा निद्रां प्रबुध्यन्ते सुषुप्ते बोधिताः परैः ॥ ६०४ ॥
agṛhītvaiva sambandhamabhidhānābhidheyayoḥ |
hitvā nidrāṃ prabudhyante suṣupte bodhitāḥ paraiḥ || 604 ||
English translation of verse 2.604:
Even without grasping the relation between the word and its meaning, persons who are asleep, being awakened by others, wake up, giving up sleep.
Notes:
This verse explains the example of rousing a person from sleep mentioned in verse (602).
