The Sanskrit text of the Panchasayaka, a Sanskrit text in five parts dealing the ancient Indian science of erotics (i.e., Kamashastra) from the 13th century. It was written by Jyotirishwar Thakur (also: Kavisekharacarya Jyotirisvara Thakura). Alternative titles: Pañcasāyaka (पञ्चसायक, Pancasayaka) Pañca-sāyaka (पञ्च-सायक, Pancha-sayaka).

अथ वशीकरणमन्त्रसमुद्देशः ।
मदमदपदमादौ मादयेति द्विवारं तदनु च लिखनीयं सौख्यदं ह्रीं च तस्मात् ।
अथ च पदमुपान्ते नामरूपादिसञ्ज्ञो भवति मदनमन्त्रः स्वाहया संयुतोऽयम् ॥ ५९ ॥

atha vaśīkaraṇamantrasamuddeśaḥ |
madamadapadamādau mādayeti dvivāraṃ tadanu ca likhanīyaṃ saukhyadaṃ hrīṃ ca tasmāt |
atha ca padamupānte nāmarūpādisañjño bhavati madanamantraḥ svāhayā saṃyuto'yam || 59 ||

This is the purpose of the Vashikarana Mantra. At the beginning of the word madamada, one should write madaye twice, followed by the words saukhyada and hrim. Then, at the end of the stage, the mantra Madana, which is accompanied by the syllable Svāhā, is chanted.
