This is Mantra 3.8 of the Kena-upanishad (Kenopanishad), the English translation and commentary of Madhva (Madhvacharya) called the Bhasya. The Kena Upanishad deals with topics such as Brahman and Atman (soul) and also discusses the symbolic representation of the Gods as forces of nature. It is an important text in the Vedanta schools of Hindu philsophy. This is Mantra 8 of section 3 called ‘Tritiya-Khanda’.

तदभ्यद्रवत्तमभ्यवदत्कोऽसीति वायुर्वा अहमस्मीत्यब्रवीन्मातरिश्वा वा अहमस्मीति ॥ ८ ॥
tadabhyadravattamabhyavadatko'sīti vāyurvā ahamasmītyabravīnmātariśvā vā ahamasmīti || 8 ||
tat—to Him (Yakṣa); abhyadravat—he ran; tam—to Him (Vāyu); abhyavadat—(the Yakṣa) said or addressed; kaḥ—who; asi—art thou; iti—thus (Vāyu replied); vāyuḥ—Vāyu; vai—verily, indeed; aham—I; asmi—am; iti—thus; abravīt—He said; mātariśvā—mover-in-mother-space (mātari=antarikṣe śvāyati, mātari=ākāśe, śvasimi gacchami iti); vai—indeed; aham—I; asmi—am; iti—thus.
8. He (Vāyu) went towards that (Yakṣa). He (Yakṣa) said to (Vāyu) “Who art thou?” Vāyu replied “I am Vāyu indeed, I am the well-known Matariśva, the mover-in-mother.”—21.
