Sugandha Kokila (सुगन्धकोकिला) in Nepali refers to the plant Cinnamomum glaucescens from the Lauraceae or “laurels family”. It is is mentioned as one of the “Protected plants of Nepal”. The photo also depicts a Seed (विउ, viu) and a Leaf (पात, pat/pāt/pāta/pata).

The word Suganha Kokila can also be transliterated as Sugandha Kokilā, Sugandhakokilā or Sugandhakokila.
