Source: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchThe Subterranean Realms are denoted by the Sanskrit term Pātāla, according to verse 3-52 of the Śivasaṃhitā.—Accordingly, “A man who dwells in the subterranean realms (pātāla) [pātālavāsinaḥ] can see [up to] the world of Brahma. [This] power called Prāpti is very difficult to attain for those who are not Yogins”.
Yoga is originally considered a branch of Hindu philosophy (astika), but both ancient and modern Yoga combine the physical, mental and spiritual. Yoga teaches various physical techniques also known as āsanas (postures), used for various purposes (eg., meditation, contemplation, relaxation).
