Source: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchDwelling (in a particular realm) is denoted by the Sanskrit term Vāsin, according to verse 3-52 of the Śivasaṃhitā.—Accordingly, “A man who dwells (vāsin) in the subterranean realms [pātālavāsinaḥ] can see [up to] the world of Brahma. [This] power called Prāpti is very difficult to attain for those who are not Yogins”.
Yoga is originally considered a branch of Hindu philosophy (astika), but both ancient and modern Yoga combine the physical, mental and spiritual. Yoga teaches various physical techniques also known as āsanas (postures), used for various purposes (eg., meditation, contemplation, relaxation).
