Iṭaiccol (இடைச்சொல்) [iṭai-col] noun < idem. +. Particle which cannot be used by itself in any sense but which, when occurring in combination with nouns and verbs, functions as inflectional or conjugational suffix, adverb, preposition, expletive, conjunction, interjection, etc., one of the four parts of speech in Tamil grammar; பெயர்வினைகளோடு சார்ந்துவழங்குஞ் சொல்.
