The heavenly deva (vaimānika) have two divisions, ‘kalpopapanna’ and ‘kalpātīta’. (17)

What are the divisions of vaimānika?
The heavenly deva (vaimānika) have two divisions. Those born in the ‘kalpa’–the sixteen heavens–are called ‘kalpopapanna’. Those born beyond the ‘kalpa’ are called ‘kalpātīta’.
