Arthajamam or Arthajama puja

Although arthajama puja is said to be a mid-night puja, it is held at present between 8.00 p.m and 9.30 p.m.[1] During this puja, abhisheka is performed to Adavalleswarar. Plain rice is offered as neivedya. After diparadhana and neivedya to Adavalleswarar and Amman. Lastly diparadhana is performed to Natarajar, Vinayaga, Subramanya, Chandesvarar and Bhairavar of the Adavalleswarar temple with neivedya.
