Kṣemendra, the illustrious personality in the field of Sanskrit literature, is a well-known poet, poetition, dramatist, Jurisprudent etc. is the author of Vātsyāyanasūtrasāra. It is considered a commentary of Vātsyāyana’s Kāmasūtra. As the name indicates, it may be a gist of sūtras in Kāmasūtra. Anyhow, the work is lost now.
