Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation of verse 3.14.30:

व्यापारसमुदायस्य यथाधिश्रयणादिषु ।
प्रत्येकं जातिवद् वृत्तिस्तथा द्वन्द्वपदेष्वपि ॥ ३० ॥

vyāpārasamudāyasya yathādhiśrayaṇādiṣu |
pratyekaṃ jātivad vṛttistathā dvandvapadeṣvapi || 30 ||

30. Just as the whole set of activities exists like the Universal in each part like the placing of the vessel on the fire (adhiśrayaṇam), so is the case with the constituents of dvandva compound.

Commentary

An illustration of this principle of the whole being manifested by each part is now given.

[Read verse 30 above]

[It is not only here that the whole appears in each part. This is true of action also. The action called ‘cooking’ which is the name of a series of little acts is felt to be present in each act in that series. The whole is superimposed on the parts. It is a kind of adhyāsa. When somebody is just lighting the fire, we say: ‘he is cooking’. It is like the universal (jāti) which is present in each individual. Similarly, the group which is the meaning of the whole compound is expressed by each constituent of it.]

An illustration is now given.
