Sanskrit text, Unicode transliteration and English translation of verse 3.9.11:
स्थितस्यानुग्रहस्तैर्धर्मैः संसर्गिंभिस्ततः ।
प्रतिबन्धस्तिरोभावः प्रहाणमिति चात्मनः ॥ ११ ॥sthitasyānugrahastairdharmaiḥ saṃsargiṃbhistataḥ |
pratibandhastirobhāvaḥ prahāṇamiti cātmanaḥ || 11 ||11. The object which stays is influenced by others associated with it. It is either prevented (from producing its effect.) or is hidden or is destroyed.
Commentary
[While an object is sustained, it is influenced by other objects, some of which develop it while others cause its decay. An object is prevented from producing its effect at some times, sometimes it is hidden and sometimes it is destroyed.]
