The Vaisheshika-sutra 7.2.11, English translation, including commentaries such as the Upaskara of Shankara Mishra, the Vivriti of Jayanarayana-Tarkapanchanana and the Bhashya of Chandrakanta. The Vaisheshika Sutras teaches the science freedom (moksha-shastra) and the various aspects of the soul (eg., it's nature, suffering and rebirth under the law of karma). This is sutra 1 (‘conjunction and disjunction do not possess conjunction and disjunction’) contained in Chapter 2—Of Number, Separateness, Conjunction, etc.—of Book VII (of the examination of attributes and of combination).

संयोगविभागयोः संयोगविभागाभावः अणुत्वमहत्त्वाभ्यां व्याख्यातः ॥ ७.२.११ ॥
saṃyogavibhāgayoḥ saṃyogavibhāgābhāvaḥ aṇutvamahattvābhyāṃ vyākhyātaḥ || 7.2.11 ||
sāṃyoga-vibhāgayoḥ—in Conjunction and Disjunction; saṃyoga-vibhāga-abhāvaḥ—non-existence of Conjunction and Disjunction; aṇutva-mahattvābhyāṃ—by minuteness and magnitude; vyākhyātaḥ—explained.

It may be said, “Let there be Conjunction in Conjunction also, and Disjunction in Disjunction also.” To prevent this he says:

As Minuteness and Magnitude are not possessed of Minuteness and Magnitude, so also are not Conjunction and Disjunction possessed of Conjunction and Disjunction.—11.
