Chapter 271 - Greatness of Jvāleśvara (Jvāla-īśvara)

Īśvara said:
1-2. O goddess, very near the same shrine (i.e. Maṅkīśvara) is the Liṅga named Jvāleśvara. It is remembered as the place where the Pāśupata arrow was cast by the enemy of Tripuras even as it was blazing. Hence it is remembered as Jvāleśvara. By visiting it, a man is rid of all the sins.
