The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.3.40; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ उपस्थित-दुरापार्थ-त्यागी —
उपस्थित-दुरापार्थ-त्यग्य् असौ येन नेष्यते ।
हरिणा दीयमानो’पि सार्ष्ट्य्-आदिस् तुष्यता वरः ॥४.३.४०॥

atha upasthita-durāpārtha-tyāgī —
upasthita-durāpārtha-tyagy asau yena neṣyate |
hariṇā dīyamāno’pi sārṣṭy-ādis tuṣyatā varaḥ
||4.3.40||

English translation

“The person who does not want to accept even the five types of liberation, offered by the Lord who is pleased with him, is called upasthita-durāpārtha-tyāgī (one who is resolute to reject things rarely attained by others).”
