The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 4.3.38; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा अष्टमे (८.२०.११) —
यजन्ति यज्ञं क्रतुभिर् यम् आदृता
भवन्त आम्नाय-विधान-कोविदाः ।
स एव विष्णुर् वरदो’स्तु वा परो
दास्याम्य् अमुष्मै क्षितिम् ईप्सितां मुने ॥४.३.३८॥

yathā aṣṭame (8.20.11) —
yajanti yajñaṃ kratubhir yam ādṛtā
bhavanta āmnāya-vidhāna-kovidāḥ |
sa eva viṣṇur varado’stu vā paro
dāsyāmy amuṣmai kṣitim īpsitāṃ mune
||4.3.38||

English translation

From the Eighth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [8.20.11]:
“O great sage, great saintly persons like you, being completely aware of the Vedic principles for performing ritualistic ceremonies and yajñas, worship Lord Viṣṇu in all circumstances. Therefore, whether that same Lord Viṣṇu has come here to give me all benedictions or to punish me as an enemy, I must carry out His order and give Him the requested tract of land without hesitation.”
