The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.33; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा —
शिखण्ड-कृत-शेखरः फण-पटीं दधत्
करे च लगुडीं लघुं सवयसां कुलैर् आवृतः ।
अवन्न् इह शकृत्-करीन् परिसरे व्रजस्य प्रिये
सुतस् तव कृतार्थयत्य् अहह पश्य नेत्राणि नः ॥३.४.३३॥

yathā —
śikhaṇḍa-kṛta-śekharaḥ phaṇa-paṭīṃ dadhat
kare ca laguḍīṃ laghuṃ savayasāṃ kulair āvṛtaḥ |
avann iha śakṛt-karīn parisare vrajasya priye
sutas tava kṛtārthayaty ahaha paśya netrāṇi naḥ
||3.4.33||

English translation

An example of activities of late kaumāra:
“O dear wife! Just look! Your son, with a peacock feather on His head and the hood-shaped cloth decoration, carrying a stick and surrounded by His friends, is herding the calves at the edge of Vraja. By seeing Him, our eyes have become successful.”
