The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.5.61; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा श्री-दशमे (१०.७.२५) —
रुदितम् अनु निशम्य तत्र गोप्यो
भृशम् अनुतप्त-धियो’श्रु-पूर्ण-मुख्यः ।
रुरुदुर् अनुपलभ्य नन्द-सूनुं
पवन उपारत-पांशु-वर्ष-वेगे ॥२.५.६१॥yathā śrī-daśame (10.7.25) —
ruditam anu niśamya tatra gopyo
bhṛśam anutapta-dhiyo’śru-pūrṇa-mukhyaḥ |
rurudur anupalabhya nanda-sūnuṃ
pavana upārata-pāṃśu-varṣa-vege ||2.5.61||
English translation
An example from the Tenth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam [10.7.25]:
“When the force of the dust storm and the winds subsided, Yaśodā's friends, the other gopīs, approached mother Yaśodā, hearing her pitiful crying. Not seeing Kṛṣṇa present, they too felt very much aggrieved and joined mother Yaśodā in crying, their eyes full of tears.”
