The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.162; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अपमानाद्, यथा पद्मोक्तिः —
कदम्ब-वन-तस्कर द्रुतम् अपेहि किं चाटुभिर्
जने भवति मद्-विधे परिभवो हि नातः परः ।
त्वया व्रज-मृगी-दृशां सदसि हन्त चन्द्रावली
वरापि यद् अयोग्यया स्फुटम् अदूषि ताराख्यया ॥२.४.१६२॥apamānād, yathā padmoktiḥ —
kadamba-vana-taskara drutam apehi kiṃ cāṭubhir
jane bhavati mad-vidhe paribhavo hi nātaḥ paraḥ |
tvayā vraja-mṛgī-dṛśāṃ sadasi hanta candrāvalī
varāpi yad ayogyayā sphuṭam adūṣi tārākhyayā ||2.4.162||
English translation
Indignation arising from disrespect, in the words of Padmā:
“O thief in the kadamba forest! Come here quickly and do not use clever words! There is no greater disrespect for a person like me than to directly spoil excellent Candrāvalī in the assembly of gopīs by uttering the unsuitable name of Rādhā.”
