The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.4.153; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा, स्तवावल्यां श्री-राधिकाष्टके (१४.७) —
प्रकटित-निज-वासं स्निग्ध-वेणु-प्रणादैर्
द्रुत-गति हरिम् आरात् प्राप्य कुञ्जे स्मिताक्षी ।
श्रवण-कुहर-कण्डुं तन्वती नम्र-वक्त्रा
स्नपयति निज-दास्ये राधिका मां कदा नु ॥२.४.१५३॥

yathā vā, stavāvalyāṃ śrī-rādhikāṣṭake (14.7) —
prakaṭita-nija-vāsaṃ snigdha-veṇu-praṇādair
druta-gati harim ārāt prāpya kuñje smitākṣī |
śravaṇa-kuhara-kaṇḍuṃ tanvatī namra-vaktrā
snapayati nija-dāsye rādhikā māṃ kadā nu

English translation

Another example, from Stavāvalī, Śrī-Rādhikāṣṭaka:
“When Kṛṣṇa revealed His whereabouts in the grove by the sound of His flute, Rādhā coming quickly to the grove with a smiling face, remained waiting with head hung down, eager to hear Kṛṣṇa’s words. When will that Rādhā engage me in Her service?”
