अथ छाया —
क्षुद्र-कौतूहल-मयी चञ्चला दुःख-हारिणी ।
रतेश् छाया भवेत् किंचित् तत्-सादृश्यावलम्बिनी ॥१.३.४९ ॥atha chāyā —
kṣudra-kautūhala-mayī cañcalā duḥkha-hāriṇī |
rateś chāyā bhavet kiṃcit tat-sādṛśyāvalambinī ||1.3.49 ||
English translation
“Chāyā-ratyābhāsa is now described: That which has some similarity to real rati, which possesses a small amount of interest in the Lord, which is unstable and which destroys suffering, is said to be chāyā-ratyābhāsa.”
