The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.201 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ शरणापत्तिः, यथा हरि-भक्ति-विलासे (११.६७७) —
तवास्मीति वदन् वाचा तथैव मनसा विदन् ।
तत्-स्थानम् आश्रितस् तन्वा मोदते शरणागतः ॥१.२.२०१ ॥atha śaraṇāpattiḥ, yathā hari-bhakti-vilāse (11.677) —
tavāsmīti vadan vācā tathaiva manasā vidan |
tat-sthānam āśritas tanvā modate śaraṇāgataḥ ||1.2.201 ||
English translation
Accepting the Lord’s protection is illustrated in the Hari-bhakti-vilāsa [11.677]:
“He who, while saying ‘I am Yours’, accepts the protection of the Lord, feels bliss.”
