The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 1.2.141 ; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. यथा नारदीये —
मुहूर्तं वा मुहूर्तार्धं यस् तिष्ठेद् धरि-मन्दिरे ।
स याति परमं स्थानं किम् उ शुश्रूषणे रताः ॥१.२.१४१ ॥yathā nāradīye —
muhūrtaṃ vā muhūrtārdhaṃ yas tiṣṭhed dhari-mandire |
sa yāti paramaṃ sthānaṃ kim u śuśrūṣaṇe ratāḥ ||1.2.141 ||
English translation
It is said in the Nāradīya Purāṇa:
“If one remains in the temple of the Lord for one muhūrta, or even half a muhūrta, he goes to the supreme abode. What then to speak of the person engaged in the paricārya of the Lord?”
