एवम्-आदि-गुणिर् युक्तो बहु-वर्ष-शतं ततः
संसाध्य वैष्णवान् मन्त्रान् निर्वेदं गतवान् अहम्

evam-ādi-guṇir yukto bahu-varṣa-śataṃ tataḥ
saṃsādhya vaiṣṇavān mantrān nirvedaṃ gatavān aham

English translation of verse:

Worshiping the Lord in this way for many hundreds of years, I learned many Viṣṇu-mantras. I gave up all attachment for the material world.
