Rig Veda 9.10.5
Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:
आ॒पा॒नासो॑ वि॒वस्व॑तो॒ जन॑न्त उ॒षसो॒ भग॑म् । सूरा॒ अण्वं॒ वि त॑न्वते ॥
आपानासो विवस्वतो जनन्त उषसो भगम् । सूरा अण्वं वि तन्वते ॥
āpānāso vivasvato jananta uṣaso bhagam | sūrā aṇvaṃ vi tanvate ||
English translation:
“The beverages of Vivasvat and producing the glory of the dawn, the issuing juices spread their sound.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Vivasvat = Indra; āpānasaḥ = āpānabhūtaḥ; spread their sound: aṇvam vitanvate = śabdam kurvanti; elsewhere, aṇva is explained as the small holes of the filter
