Rig Veda 8.67.20
Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:
मा नो॑ हे॒तिर्वि॒वस्व॑त॒ आदि॑त्याः कृ॒त्रिमा॒ शरु॑: । पु॒रा नु ज॒रसो॑ वधीत् ॥
मा नो हेतिर्विवस्वत आदित्याः कृत्रिमा शरुः । पुरा नु जरसो वधीत् ॥
mā no hetir vivasvata ādityāḥ kṛtrimā śaruḥ | purā nu jaraso vadhīt ||
English translation:
“Let not this weapon of Vivasvat, this net made with hands, Ādityas, destroy us before old age.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Vivasvat: i.e. Yama, son of Vivasvat; before old age: purā = pūrve nu idānīm sarvadetyarthaḥ jarasahidānīm jīrṇān: let it not destroy us, now and of old infirm
