अग्ने॑ क॒विर्वे॒धा अ॑सि॒ होता॑ पावक॒ यक्ष्य॑: । म॒न्द्रो यजि॑ष्ठो अध्व॒रेष्वीड्यो॒ विप्रे॑भिः शुक्र॒ मन्म॑भिः ॥
अग्ने कविर्वेधा असि होता पावक यक्ष्यः । मन्द्रो यजिष्ठो अध्वरेष्वीड्यो विप्रेभिः शुक्र मन्मभिः ॥
agne kavir vedhā asi hotā pāvaka yakṣyaḥ | mandro yajiṣṭho adhvareṣv īḍyo viprebhiḥ śukra manmabhiḥ ||
English translation:
“Agni, you, wise, are the creator (of consequences); O purifier, you are the involving priest, worthy ofworship; bright one, you are to be praised in our sacrifices by the priests with hymns, yourself the chief ministrantworthy to be rejoiced in.”
