विप्रं॒ होता॑रम॒द्रुहं॑ धू॒मके॑तुं वि॒भाव॑सुम् । य॒ज्ञानां॑ के॒तुमी॑महे ॥
विप्रं होतारमद्रुहं धूमकेतुं विभावसुम् । यज्ञानां केतुमीमहे ॥
vipraṃ hotāram adruhaṃ dhūmaketuṃ vibhāvasum | yajñānāṃ ketum īmahe ||
English translation:
“We solicit the wise invoker (of the gods), the beneficent, the smoke- bannered, the resplendent, thebanner of the sacrifices.”
