उ॒च्छन्त्यां॑ मे यज॒ता दे॒वक्ष॑त्रे॒ रुश॑द्गवि । सु॒तं सोमं॒ न ह॒स्तिभि॒रा प॒ड्भिर्धा॑वतं नरा॒ बिभ्र॑तावर्च॒नान॑सम् ॥
उच्छन्त्यां मे यजता देवक्षत्रे रुशद्गवि । सुतं सोमं न हस्तिभिरा पड्भिर्धावतं नरा बिभ्रतावर्चनानसम् ॥
ucchantyām me yajatā devakṣatre ruśadgavi | sutaṃ somaṃ na hastibhir ā paḍbhir dhāvataṃ narā bibhratāv arcanānasam ||
English translation:
“Deities who are to be worshipped at the sacrifice to the gods, at the (first) shining ray (of light) at dawn; behold my Soma libation poured out; hasten, with rapid steeds, leaders (of rites), propitious to Arcanānas.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
With rapid steeds: hastibhiḥ padbhiḥ = liṭ, with hands, with feet, that is, wiḥ those having four feet, i.e. with horses
