उ॒त स्म॒ यं शिशुं॑ यथा॒ नवं॒ जनि॑ष्टा॒रणी॑ । ध॒र्तारं॒ मानु॑षीणां वि॒शाम॒ग्निं स्व॑ध्व॒रम् ॥
उत स्म यं शिशुं यथा नवं जनिष्टारणी । धर्तारं मानुषीणां विशामग्निं स्वध्वरम् ॥
uta sma yaṃ śiśuṃ yathā navaṃ janiṣṭāraṇī | dhartāram mānuṣīṇāṃ viśām agniṃ svadhvaram ||
English translation:
“He (it is) whom the two sticks have engendered like a new-born babe; the supporter of men and descendants of Manu, the fit object of sacrifice.”
