Rig Veda 2.24.6

अ॒भि॒नक्ष॑न्तो अ॒भि ये तमा॑न॒शुर्नि॒धिं प॑णी॒नां प॑र॒मं गुहा॑ हि॒तम् । ते वि॒द्वांस॑: प्रति॒चक्ष्यानृ॑ता॒ पुन॒र्यत॑ उ॒ आय॒न्तदुदी॑युरा॒विश॑म् ॥
अभिनक्षन्तो अभि ये तमानशुर्निधिं पणीनां परमं गुहा हितम् । ते विद्वांसः प्रतिचक्ष्यानृता पुनर्यत उ आयन्तदुदीयुराविशम् ॥
abhinakṣanto abhi ye tam ānaśur nidhim paṇīnām paramaṃ guhā hitam | te vidvāṃsaḥ praticakṣyānṛtā punar yata u āyan tad ud īyur āviśam ||

English translation:

“Those sages, who searching on every side, discovered the precious treasure (of cattle) hidden in the cave of the Paṇis, having seen through the false (illusions of the asura), and again coming (thither) forced an entrance.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Those sages: the aṅgirasas; the allegory is explained: the cows hidden in the caves are the rains accusative ulated in the clouds, which are set free by the oblations with fire, of which the aṅgirasas were, no doubt, the authors
