Part 10 - Liquefaction of diamond

First process.

Ashes of diamond, incapable of being restored to their former condition, are to be kept inside an asthi-sanhara creeper and immersed into a vessel filled with a sour vegetable juice (such as lime juice), and then heated for seven days with the result that it turns into a liquid.

Second process (liquefaction of all the gems).

Third process.

Juice of ketaki flower, rock-salt, svarna-flower, and indragopa insect—all these are to be kept in a vessel. Diamond and all the other stones, and metals are liquefied, if mixed and boiled for seven days with this solution.
