The Sanskrit text of the Panchasayaka, a Sanskrit text in five parts dealing the ancient Indian science of erotics (i.e., Kamashastra) from the 13th century. It was written by Jyotirishwar Thakur (also: Kavisekharacarya Jyotirisvara Thakura). Alternative titles: Pañcasāyaka (पञ्चसायक, Pancasayaka) Pañca-sāyaka (पञ्च-सायक, Pancha-sayaka).

नारीणां सत्त्वसमुद्देशः ।
त्रिवलिवलितमध्या कम्बुकण्ठी विदग्धा कमलसुरभिदेहा केतकीगर्भभव्या ।
शुचिचरितपवित्रा शीलसन्तोषयुक्ता सुललितपिकवाणी स्यादियं देवसत्त्वा ॥ ३० ॥

nārīṇāṃ sattvasamuddeśaḥ |
trivalivalitamadhyā kambukaṇṭhī vidagdhā kamalasurabhidehā ketakīgarbhabhavyā |
śucicaritapavitrā śīlasantoṣayuktā sulalitapikavāṇī syādiyaṃ devasattvā || 30 ||

The purpose of women is the Sattva. She was adorned with three curls, her neck was like a conchshell, and her body was fragrant with lotuses. This woman is a devotee of the demigods.
