This is verse 2.51 of the Jnaneshwari (Bhavartha-Dipika), the English translation of 13th-century Marathi commentary on the Bhagavad-Gita.—The Dnyaneshwari (Jnaneshwari) brings to light the deeper meaning of the Gita which represents the essence of the Vedic Religion. This is verse 51 of the chapter called Samkhya-Yoga.

Verse 2.51: “For, united to this Discernment, the Sages, relinquishing the fruits issuing from action, and liberated from the bondage of births, attain to that Abode where there is no ailing. (278)

Commentary called Jnaneshwari by Jnaneshwar:

Even while they live on the plane of performing actions, they never touch the fruit of their actions and therefore they escape from the tortuous wheel of birth and death. These illumined by this Discernment, O Dhanurdhara, reach that eternal everlasting Abode of Bliss.
