The Garga-samhita Verse 6.14.31, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. गते हरौ भगवति
भगवत्-तेजसान्वितः
एक-हस्ते गिरिं धृत्वा
मुश्टिना वज्र-घातिना
सुमेरुं सन्तताडाशु
वज्रीव बलवत्तरः
तस्य मुश्टि-प्रहारेण
मेरुर् विह्वलतां गतः
gate harau bhagavati
bhagavat-tejasānvitaḥ
eka-haste giriṃ dhṛtvā
muśṭinā vajra-ghātinā
sumeruṃ santatāḍāśu
vajrīva balavattaraḥ
tasya muśṭi-prahāreṇa
merur vihvalatāṃ gataḥ
gate harau bhagavati—when Lord Hari had gone; bhagavat-tejasānvitaḥ—now possessing the Lord's potency; eka-haste—with one hand; girim—the mountain; dhṛtvā—holding; muśṭinā—with a fist; vajra-ghātinā—like a thunderbolt; sumerum—Sumeru; santatāḍa—struck; āśu—at once; vajrī—a thunderbolt; iva— like; balavattaraḥ—very powerful; tasya—of him; muśṭi-prahāreṇa—with a punch; meruḥ—Meru; vihvalatām—agitation; gataḥ—attained.
English translation of verse 6.14.31:
After the Supreme Lord had disappeared, King Raivata, now strong as a thunderbolt for he possessed the Lord's own strength, shifted the young mountain to a single hand and with the other punched Mount Sumeru with a punch like a thunderbolt, a punch that overwhelmed Mount Sumeru.
