The Garga-samhita Verse 6.13.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. यैर् न श्रुतं भागवतं पुराणं
नाराधितो यैः पुरुशः पुराणः
हूतं मुखे नैव धरामराणां
तेशां वृथा जन्म गतं नराणाम्
yair na śrutaṃ bhāgavataṃ purāṇaṃ
nārādhito yaiḥ puruśaḥ purāṇaḥ
hūtaṃ mukhe naiva dharāmarāṇāṃ
teśāṃ vṛthā janma gataṃ narāṇām
yaiḥ—by whom; na—not; śrutam—heard; bhāgavatam—Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam; purāṇam—Purāṇa; na—not; ārādhitaḥ—worshiped; yaiḥ—by whom; puruśaḥ—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; purāṇaḥ—ancient; hūtam—offered; mukhe—in the mouth; na—not; eva—indeed; dharāmarāṇām—of the brāhmaṇas; teśām—of them; vṛtha—wasted; janma—birth; gatam—gone; narāṇām—of people.
English translation of verse 6.13.11:
They who have not heard Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, worshiped the ancient Supreme Personality of Godhead, or fed the brāhmaṇas, have wasted their lives.
