पाण्डवानां सहायार्थं
इन्द्रप्रस्थं गतो हरिः
तत्रैव वर्षिकान् मासान्
न्यवात्सीद् बन्धु-वत्सलः
pāṇḍavānāṃ sahāyārthaṃ
indraprasthaṃ gato hariḥ
tatraiva varṣikān māsān
nyavātsīd bandhu-vatsalaḥ
pāṇḍavānām—pf the Pandavas; sahāyārtham—forhelp; indraprastham—to hastinapura; gataḥ—went; hariḥ—Lord Kṛṣṇa; tatra—there; eva—indeed; varṣikān—of the monsoon; māsān—the months; nyavātsīt—resided; bandhu-vatsalaḥ—who loves His relatives.
English translation of verse 6.8.12:
Then Lord Kṛṣṇa, who dearly loves His relatives, went to Hastināpura and stayed there for the months of the monsoon to help the Pāṇḍavas.
