The Garga-samhita Verse 6.1.22, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. चूर्णी-भूता रथा राजन्
बाणौघैः शार्ङ्ग-धन्वनः
चूर्ण-चक्रा निपेतुः कौ
हत-सूताश् च नायकाः

cūrṇī-bhūtā rathā rājan
bāṇaughaiḥ śārṅga-dhanvanaḥ
cūrṇa-cakrā nipetuḥ kau
hata-sūtāś ca nāyakāḥ

cūrṇī-bhūtāḥbroken to pieces; rathā—the chariots; rājanO king; bāṇaughaiḥ—with the flood of arrows; śārṅga-dhanvanaḥ—from the Śārṅga bow; cūrṇa-cakrāḥbroken to pieces; nipetuḥ—fell; kau—to the ground; hatakilled; sūtāḥ—charioteers; ca—and; nāyakāḥ—warriors.

English translation of verse 6.1.22:

O king, the flood of arrows from the Śārṅga bow broke the chariots into pieces.

Their wheels broken, the chariots crashed to the ground and the warriors and charioteers on them all died.
