The Garga-samhita Verse 6.1.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 1 (Jarasandha’s Defeat) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

पञ्चभिश् चाक्षौहिणीभिर्
धाऋटराष्ट्रः सुयोधनः
युयोध यादवैः सार्धं
जरासन्ध-सहाय-कृत्

pañcabhiś cākṣauhiṇībhir
dhāṛṭarāṣṭraḥ suyodhanaḥ
yuyodha yādavaiḥ sārdhaṃ
jarāsandha-sahāya-kṛt

pañcabhiḥ—with five; ca—and; akṣauhiṇībhiḥ—aksauhinis; dhāṛṭarāṣṭraḥ—Dhrtarastra's son; suyodhanaḥ—Duryodhana; yuyodha—fought; yādavaiḥ—the Yādavas; sārdham—with; jarāsandha-sahāya-kṛt—helping Jarasandha.

English translation of verse 6.1.14:

Accompanied by five akṣauhiṇī divisons, Dhṛtarāṣṭra's son Duryodhana also fought on jarāsandha's side against the Yādavas.
