The Garga-samhita Verse 5.24.40, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 24 (The Killing of the Kola Demon) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

भग्न-दन्तश् चलन्-नेत्रो
मूर्छितो निधनं ययौ
कोलो नाम महा-दैत्यो
वृत्रो वज्र-हतो यथा

bhagna-dantaś calan-netro
mūrchito nidhanaṃ yayau
kolo nāma mahā-daityo
vṛtro vajra-hato yathā

English translation of verse 5.24.40:

His teeth broken and his eyes moving, the great demon named Kola fainted and died, as Vṛtra did when he was hit by Indra's thunderbolt.
