The Garga-samhita Verse 5.17.28, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 17 (The Gopis Describe Their Remembrance of Sri Krsna) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

स्रि-लोकचल-वसिन्य उचुह् स्नेह-पचो द्र्धो छिन्नो न च्छिन्नो हरिन विन छित्त्व तम् मथुरम् प्रगन् नग-पसम् यथ खगह् स्रि-लोकचल-वसिन्य

sri-lokacala-vasinya ucuh sneha-paco drdho chinno na cchinno harina vina chittva tam mathuram pragan naga-pasam yatha khagah sri-lokacala-vasinya

ucuh—the gopis that had been residents of Lokacala said; snehaof love; pacah—the rope; drdhah—firm; chinnah—broken; na—not; cchinnah—broken; harinaby Krsna; vinawithout; chittva—breaking; tam—that; mathuram—to Mathura; pragan—went; naga-pasamsnake-noose; yatha—as; khagah—Garuda.

English translation of verse 5.17.28:

The gopis that had been residents of Lokacala said: Only Krsna can cut the noose of love. No one but Him can cut it. As Garuda cuts a noose of snakes, Krsna should have cut the noose of our love before He went to Mathura City.
