The Garga-samhita Verse 5.16.24, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 16 (Comforting Sri Radha and the Gopis) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

एकद मम् समहुय स्म्र्त्व युस्मन् रहस्-करह् कथयम् अस सन्देचम् चित्त-स्थम् नन्द-नन्दनह्

ekada mam samahuya smrtva yusman rahas-karah kathayam asa sandecam citta-stham nanda-nandanah

ekadaonce; mam—me; samahuya—calling; smrtva—remembering; yusman—you; rahas-karah—in a private room; kathayam asa—told; sandecam—instruction; citta-stham—in His heart; nanda-nandanah—Krsna.

English translation of verse 5.16.24:

One day Lord Krsna called me to His private room and from His heart dicatated the following letter:.
