The Garga-samhita Verse 5.11.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 11 (The Stories of Kubja and Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

महादेव-वरेणापि
श्री-कृष्णस्य प्रियाभवत्
इदं मया ते कथितं
किं भूयः श्रोतुम् इच्छसि

mahādeva-vareṇāpi
śrī-kṛṣṇasya priyābhavat
idaṃ mayā te kathitaṃ
kiṃ bhūyaḥ śrotum icchasi

mahādeva-vareṇa—by Lord Śiva's boon; api—also; śrī-kṛṣṇasya—of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; priyāthe beloved; abhavat—became; idam—this; mayāby me; te—to you; kathitam—spoken; kim—what?; bhūyaḥ—more; śrotum—to hear; icchasi—you wish.

English translation of verse 5.11.11:

By Lord Śiva's blessing she became Lord Kṛṣṇa's beloved. Now I have explained this to you. What more do you wish to hear?
