कृष्ण-मुष्टि-प्रहारेण
सद्यो वै निधनं गतः
तज्-ज्योतिः श्री-घनश्यामे
लीनं जातं विधेह-राट्
kṛṣṇa-muṣṭi-prahāreṇa
sadyo vai nidhanaṃ gataḥ
taj-jyotiḥ śrī-ghanaśyāme
līnaṃ jātaṃ vidheha-rāṭ
kṛṣṇa—of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; muṣṭi-prahāreṇa—by the punch; sadyaḥ—at once; vai—indeed; nidhanam—death; gataḥ—attained; taj-jyotiḥ—his light; śrī-ghanaśyāme—in the dark cloud of Lord Kṛṣṇa; līnam—merged; jātam—attained; vidheha-rāṭ—O king of Videha.
English translation of verse 5.9.26:
O king of Videha, with that punch the demon died. The light from his body then merged into the dark monsoon cloud of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
