The Garga-samhita Verse 5.9.26, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 9 (The Happiness of the Yadus) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

कृष्ण-मुष्टि-प्रहारेण
सद्यो वै निधनं गतः
तज्-ज्योतिः श्री-घनश्यामे
लीनं जातं विधेह-राट्

kṛṣṇa-muṣṭi-prahāreṇa
sadyo vai nidhanaṃ gataḥ
taj-jyotiḥ śrī-ghanaśyāme
līnaṃ jātaṃ vidheha-rāṭ

kṛṣṇaof Śrī Kṛṣṇa; muṣṭi-prahāreṇa—by the punch; sadyaḥat once; vai—indeed; nidhanam—death; gataḥattained; taj-jyotiḥhis light; śrī-ghanaśyāme—in the dark cloud of Lord Kṛṣṇa; līnam—merged; jātam—attained; vidheha-rāṭ—O king of Videha.

English translation of verse 5.9.26:

O king of Videha, with that punch the demon died. The light from his body then merged into the dark monsoon cloud of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
