The Garga-samhita Verse 5.7.39, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 7 (The Killing of Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

कर्णे च कर्णं विनिधाय नागरा
महोत्सुकास् ते ह्य् अवदन् परस्परम्
एतौ कि साक्षात् परमेश्वरौ परौ
बभूवतुर् वै वसुदेव-नन्दनौ

karṇe ca karṇaṃ vinidhāya nāgarā
mahotsukās te hy avadan parasparam
etau ki sākṣāt parameśvarau parau
babhūvatur vai vasudeva-nandanau

karṇe—ear; ca—and; karṇamto ear; vinidhāya—placing; nāgarā—the people; mahotsukāḥ—eager; te—they; hy—indeed; avadan—said; parasparam—among themselves; etau—They; ki—indeed; sākṣātdirectly; parameśvarau—the two Supreme Personality of Godheads; parau—the Supremes; babhūvatuḥ—have become; vai—indeed; vasudeva-nandanau—the two sons of Vasudeva.

English translation of verse 5.7.39:

The eager people whispered in each other's ears, The Supreme Personality of Godhead has become the two sons of Vasudeva."
