The Garga-samhita Verse 5.5.43, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 5 (Shri Krishna’s Entrance Into Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

जगृहुर् गोप-बालास् ते
राज-मार्ग-जना अपि
तद्-धारणाविदो बाला
वासांसि रुचिराणि च अस्त-व्यस्तं परिदधुः
श्री-कृष्णस्य प्रपश्यतः

jagṛhur gopa-bālās te
rāja-mārga-janā api
tad-dhāraṇāvido bālā
vāsāṃsi rucirāṇi ca asta-vyastaṃ paridadhuḥ
śrī-kṛṣṇasya prapaśyataḥ

jagṛhuḥ—took; gopa-bālāḥthe gopa boys; te—they; rāja-mārga-janāthe people on the king's road; api—also; tad-dhāraṇa-vidaḥ—aware; bālāthe boys; vāsāṃsi—garments; rucirāṇi—beautiful; ca—and; asta-vyastam—left; paridadhuḥ—took; śrī-kṛṣṇasya—as Śrī Kṛṣṇa; prapaśyataḥ—watched.

English translation of verse 5.5.43:

The gopa boys took what they wanted, and other boys walking on the king's road, unaware of what had happened, also took from the pile of beautiful clothes as Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma placidly looked on.
