जगृहुर् गोप-बालास् ते
राज-मार्ग-जना अपि
तद्-धारणाविदो बाला
वासांसि रुचिराणि च अस्त-व्यस्तं परिदधुः
श्री-कृष्णस्य प्रपश्यतः
jagṛhur gopa-bālās te
rāja-mārga-janā api
tad-dhāraṇāvido bālā
vāsāṃsi rucirāṇi ca asta-vyastaṃ paridadhuḥ
śrī-kṛṣṇasya prapaśyataḥ
jagṛhuḥ—took; gopa-bālāḥ—the gopa boys; te—they; rāja-mārga-janā—the people on the king's road; api—also; tad-dhāraṇa-vidaḥ—aware; bālā—the boys; vāsāṃsi—garments; rucirāṇi—beautiful; ca—and; asta-vyastam—left; paridadhuḥ—took; śrī-kṛṣṇasya—as Śrī Kṛṣṇa; prapaśyataḥ—watched.
English translation of verse 5.5.43:
The gopa boys took what they wanted, and other boys walking on the king's road, unaware of what had happened, also took from the pile of beautiful clothes as Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma placidly looked on.
